Writing Your First Blog

I was a little nervous the first time I wrote a blog for Grand Launch Media. It took some research to get me started so here are some tips to make it easier on you.
Ideas
Set a timer. Spend two minutes creating a list of ideas for your blog. Think about the purpose and overall message you want to share with your audience.
Outline
Once you have a topic for your first blog post, create an outline. Consider the main points to include in this blog post, what do you want your audience to know?
Fill It In
Next fill in all the gaps. Create transitions and add details to your points. Go over your writing a few times and check flow, consistency, and tone.
Edit
Edit. Edit. Edit. I can't say this enough. You can easily miss minor mistakes so be sure to reread your blog multiple times before you publish. Sometimes it even helps to have someone else edit for you.
Wrap It Up
Once editing is complete, make sure to add your headline, graphics, and hashtags. Each one needs to match the content of the blog, nothing is more annoying than seeing a hashtag or headline that does not match the post.

Another tip, research your hashtags before you post, they may not always mean what you think they mean!
Once you have done each of these you are ready to publish and share your work.
